Accessibility Statement

Here at Artfarm we are very conscious about making our sites accessible and usable for as many people as possible.

Measures to support accessibility

Artfarm takes the following measures to ensure accessibility:

– Include accessibility throughout our internal policies.
– Integrate accessibility into our procurement practices.
– Provide continual accessibility training for our staff.
– Assign clear accessibility goals and responsibilities.
– Employ formal accessibility quality assurance methods.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Artfarm is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to address any gaps in conformance and improve the accessibility of all our digital experiences.

The European Accessibility Act (EAA)

The European Accessibility Act (EAA) sets out accessibility requirements for digital services across the EU, and we are working to ensure that our platforms meet these standards. It sets out common accessibility requirements to ensure equal access for people with disabilities, particularly in digital services such as websites, mobile apps, e-commerce, and electronic communications.

In line with EAA compliance, we follow the following technical standards:

  • WCAG 2.1 Level AA – globally recognised guidelines for web accessibility.
  • EN 301 549 – the European standard providing detailed technical requirements for accessible information and communications technology (ICT). This standard builds upon and incorporates WCAG principles, tailored to the EU regulatory context.
